Sorry for not posting so often. My father in law was admitted to the hospital last Tuesday after a heart attack and has been in the hospital since. He had a double bypass on Friday and is just getting to leave the hospital today so hopefully his health continues to improve.
Now that he is coming home posts should happen more often.

Pottermore
Are you a fan of Harry Potter? I have been a fan since I was about 10 years old. Few things have influenced me as much as that series of books. I remember reading by flashlight so that my parents wouldn't know I was staying up late. Or reading Order of the Phoenix one summer when I went to visit family and being told I was 'reading too much'. Silly family, there's no such thing as too much reading.
When I heard about Pottermore I tried to sign up when they let a limited number of people in, but unfortunately I didn't make it. So when they recently opened enterance into the site I immediately signed up. I was so excited to be sorted into Ravenclaw, my dream house. I always loved them. You also get a wand from Ollivander. Mine is a 10 3/4 in. Cedar wand with Phoenix Feather core. Also, reading all the extra notes from J.K. Rowling was amazing.

My Internet Storage Box
It's been a long time since I've had a blog. Several years in fact. So I might be a little rusty, bear with me.
So I guess I should start with the basics, eh? My name is Nicole and I'm 24 years old. I've spent most of my life living in a fucking backwards redneck town that values gun accuracy over literacy and hunting is king. I married my high school sweetheart, Monte, a year ago and we have 3 fur babies (all cats), Tucker, Kit, and Abbey. Monte and I started our transition to veganism in September 2010 and have absolutely loved the journey. I love cooking (particularly I love to bake), writing, reading, nail polish (a recent addiction of mine), make up (special effects make up in particular), and hoop dance.
You might be asking yourself, "what the fuck is hoop dance?" It's pretty much what it sounds like, dancing with a hula hoop. It's a little bit of a circus skill. I haven't made a video of it in quite some time (I need to get off my lazy ass and do that) but this one is my favorite. My best friend, Jamie, is also in it.
Yeah, so those are a bunch of facts about me. Now, what will this blog be about? Pretty much anything I want it to be. Vegan recipes that I love, or pictures of delicious cruelty free food I like to eat (a lot), hoop videos, giveaways, my opinion on any matter that is bothering me at the moment, and pictures of nail polish and make up (of course!)
I think it will be nice to have an outlet to place my thoughts. Sometimes I feel like I have to many thoughts or ideas in my head and things get cluttered. This is will be like a giant storage box for my thoughts.
